Risk of Loss

All items purchased from windowparts.com are made pursuant to a shipment contract. This means that the risk of loss and title for such items pass to you upon our delivery to the carrier.



Product Descriptions

Windowparts.com attempts to be as accurate as possible. However, windowparts.com does not warrant that product descriptions or other content of this site is accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free. If a product offered by windowparts.com itself is not as described, your sole remedy is to return it in unused condition.



Return Policy


Returning a Defective Product under the Manufacturer's Warranty


Warranties provided by a product's manufacturer will be the responsibility of the manufacturer. Windowparts.com disclaims all other warranties, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. In addition, windowparts.com will not be responsible for consequential damages. Please call windowparts.com at 800-368-9556 to discuss the return procedure for your particular item. The item may need to be returned directly to the manufacturer. If so, the manufacturer's Customer Service Department will assist you with their return procedure and warranty program.


Returning a Product Damaged in Shipping

Occasionally a product will get damaged in shipping. If this has happened to your order, please contact windowparts.com at 800-368-9556. We will assist you in filing the claim with the shipper who shipped your order. To expedite the process, please keep the item in its original packaging.



Returning a Product for Other Reasons (ordered wrong or no longer need)

All returns will incur a 20% restocking fee unless otherwise noted. All returns must be authorized by windowparts.com. The product must be in perfect working order, unused, still in its original condition & packaging, and returned within 30 days of receipt. If your product was Special Order or Custom Manufactured, please see Special Order and Custom Manufactured Items below. In order to process your return rapidly and correctly, please follow the steps below:

A. Log into your account, click on Order History, click on View Details, and click the Return Items button to request a Return Merchandise Authorization Number (RMA#)
B. When returning your item; include a copy of your invoice with the RMA# written on it.
C. Also, write the RMA# on the outside of the shipping box.
D. Return the product to us insured via a carrier of your choice. Insuring your return package protects you as we can't be responsible for returns we don't receive.
E. You are responsible for the shipping costs to return the item.

When we receive your return, we will credit you by the same payment method that was used to make the purchase. You will be credited the price of the product less shipping costs and the restocking fee.


Special Orders and Custom Manufactured Items

All items on our website that do not say "Stock Item" are special orders. These items are non-returnable and non-cancelable once manufacturing has begun or the order has been placed. You may be required to sign our Special Order Form before orders can be placed for these items. A deposit may be required as well.


Shipping Policies and Disclaimers

Shipping Disclaimer

Windowparts.com only accepts orders and ship with the USA.

Please allow for carrier transit time after order has shipped out and keep in mind that no delivery dates can be guaranteed.

Orders will ship out by either Fed-ex, UPS, or USPS at our discretion even though Fed-ex is selected.

A few items need to be shipped by Freight Truck and, if so, you will be contacted with a new shipping cost estimate prior to order acceptance.

Occasionally, orders can not ship by the shipping method selected at the time the order was placed. If this situation occurs you will be contacted & provided with a new shipping rate for the alternate shipping method. With your approval the order will ship by the alternate shipping method. You will then be credited or debited, whichever applies, the difference in the shipping charge.


Product Availability Disclaimer

Windowparts.com only accepts orders and ship with the USA.

Occasionally, items ordered will no longer be available. If this situation arises you will be notified and credited all applicable charges associated with the unavailable item.


Freight Truck Delivery Policy

If you are receiving your order by Freight Truck, please follow these important delivery acceptance procedures below. The Customer will be liable for any damage if the instructions below are not followed. Also, please make sure whoever will take delivery of your items is aware of this policy.

1) When your shipment arrives, the driver will ask you to sign the freight bill. Do NOT sign until you complete steps 2 & 3 below!
2) Examine the cartons closely for any signs of damage. Obvious external damage may be an indication of concealed damage to the carton's contents. It is highly recommended to open cartons and check for internal damage. (If the driver refuses to wait for your inspection, have the driver note this on the freight bill).
3) If damage is found, it is best and easiest to refuse any damaged product and have the driver take it back with them. Please have the driver note any damage on your copy of the freight bill. At this point you may sign the freight bill.
4) If damage was found and the product wasn't refused, follow the steps in this section as well:
a) Call the freight carrier's terminal to report the damage. Request a damage claim form and an inspection.
b) Call windowparts.com at 800-368-9556 and request the cost to replace the damaged item(s). Windowparts.com's confirmation of these costs will serve as the basis for your damage claim with the freight carrier.
c) Windowparts.com will assist you in filing your claim.
5) Please call us at 800-368-9556 to advise us of the damage and to reorder any damaged product.
